In my opinion this is one of the most underrated films of 2012. A really heartwarming story about the most unlikeliest of friendships between Phillipe, a wealthy French man who was left paralysed after a paragliding accident, and Driss, a young man from Senegal who lives off welfare.
The film reminds us of the different types of personal bravery which we must find within each of us. Whether it be optimism despite such a seemingly hopeless situation for Phillipe. Or the courage to break out of other people’s expectations to fight for a better life for Driss.
